It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cecil Alston (Ahoskie, North Carolina), born in Hertford, North Carolina, who passed away on April 9, 2018, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Grover Cleveland; and his brother Steve Alston. He is survived by: his parent Millie Hughes Alston; his wife Marian Daniels Alston; his sons, Gordon Cecil Alston (Becky) and Allen Daniel Alston; his grandson Dylan Cecil Alston of Ahoskie; and his sister Sharon Frances Phelps (Ronnie) of Coinjock.
