She is survived by: her children, Tamika Powell of Mebane, NC, Tameisha Powell of Brooklyn, NY, Tawonna Powell of Durham, NC, Vikki Lipscomb (Ray) of Charlotte, NC and Rakinne Powell of Ahoskie, NC; and her siblings, Bobby Powell (Dianne) of East Orange, NJ, Roy Powell (Shorena) of Rolesville, NC, George Powell (Crystal) of Durham, NC, Brenda Jordan (Otis), Serena Dent (Otis) of Morrisville, NC, Cathy Powell of Ahoskie, NC and Rita Powell (Will) of Ahoskie, NC. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
