She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Alphonza Beverly and Annie Leary Beverly; her daughters, Tameka Cherry-Askew of Ahoskie, NC, Jahaya Cherry of Ahoskie, NC and Imelda Cherry of Ahoskie, NC; and her siblings, Alphonza Beverly of Greenville, NC, Jacqueline Sessoms of Ahoskie, NC, Lillian Walden of Greenville, NC and Pearl Rankins of Powellsville, NC. She was also cherished by five grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
