She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Curtis Mitchell of Ahoskie, NC; her children, Terrence Benthall of Montclair, NJ, Adrian D. Mitchell of Murfreesboro, NC, Kirkland Mitchell of Bladensburg, MD, Bettina Mitchell of Lewiston, NC and Katrina White of Greensboro, NC; and her siblings, Henry Johnson of Ahoskie, NC and Barbara Burden of Ahoskie, NC. She was also cherished by twelve grandchildren, seven and a half great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
