She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ivey Underwood and Susie Lee Baugham Underwood; her former husband Enos Landing Holloman; her brother John Underwood; her sister-in-law Elizabeth "Liz" Underwood; and her niece Glenda Byrd.
She is survived by: her spouse E. L. Holloman; her daughter Sharon Roope (Kenny); her grandchildren, Tracy Lewis (Bryant), Judson Byrd, Willie Roope and Mellissa Hand; her nieces, Ann Underwood Smith and Amy Simms (Lance); and her great-nephews, Brendan Simms, Nathan Smith and Bryce Simms. She is also survived by extended family and friends.
Barbara was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Ahoskie until her health and the Covid pandemic prevented her from attending.
