He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Stewart Wood; his daughter Sandra Coble; his stepson Kenny Wood of Advance; his sister Glenda Craft; and his grandchildren, Zachary Cranfill (Cynthia), Casey Cranfill and Stefanie Baker (Scott Cranfill).
A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Macedonia Moravian Church (700 NC-801, Advance, NC 27006).
