Lawler; his former wife Jill; his son Sean; his wife Donna; his children, Julie Smith (Joel) of Winchester, VA, Kathryn Lawler (Scott Ball) of Atlanta, GA, Amy Munday (Shawn) of Chapel Hill, NC, Brian Lawler (Jean) of Asheville, NC, Patrick Lawler of Richmond, VA and Thomas Lawler (Katie) of Raleigh, NC; his stepsons, Chris Kronner (Ashley Hildreth) of Brooklyn, NY and Patrick Kronner (Rachel Cass) of Lewisville, NC.; his grandchildren, Dimitri Smith (Jannie), Dolan, Noah Smith, Nora, Milner Ball, Silas, Troy, Faye Munday, Lucy, Frances, Margot Lawler, Jackson Ballard, Annie Lawler, Elliott Kronner and Kate Farrell; and his great grandchildren, Aurora Smith, Farrell, Gwyn and Atticus Hohneke.
He is survived by: his siblings, Pat Ahern, Eileen Miller, Peggy Shanley, Molly McGinn and Terry Lawler.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Kinderton Chapel - Hayworth-Miller Funeral Homes & Crematory (108 E Kinderton Way, Advance, NC 27006). A Mass was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (4820 Kinnamon Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27103).
