She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Sutton and Bessie Brooks Sutton; her husband Kenneth Cheek; her half-brother Alvin Sutton; and her siblings, Virginia Sutton, Kenneth Sutton and Rev. Lester Sutton.
She is survived by: her children, Ken Cheek, Jr. (Susan) and Jennifer Blumenthal (Larry); her granddaughters, Megan Cheek and Morgan Adams (Brandon); and her great grandchildren, Alayna Crouse and Weylen Jo Adams.
