Violet Simmons Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Violet Simmons (Advance, North Carolina), who passed away on January 13, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney Sherman Marion and Nora Ella Hunt Marion. She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Sheek (Phil) and Lori Cannoy (Jeff); her grandchildren, Rita Cain (Brad), Phillip Sheek (Anna), Nora Cannoy and Carly Cannoy; and her great grandchildren, Madison Cain, Mason Cain and Molly Sheek. She is also survived by the 10 children in her family, many nieces, nephews and extended family.

For the graveside service, the family asks that everyone in attendance please wear a mask and social distance.
