We are sad to announce that on June 24, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Thomas Poindexter Sr. (Advance, North Carolina), born in Winston Salem, North Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Roy and Bertha Alexander Poindexter; his brother J. R. Poindexter; and his son James Kelvin Poindexter. He is survived by: his children, Debbie Hunter (Randy) and Tom Poindexter (Cindy); his grandchildren, Chris Poindexter (Cella), Patrick Hunter (Sara), Alex Hunter (Jillian) and Mollie Belet (Dan); and his great grandchildren, Adryan Poindexter, Jackson Hunter and Jacob Belet.
A private service will be held due to the Covid-19 social guidelines.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to West Side Baptist Church, 595 S. Peace Haven Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
