He is survived by: his wife Mary Ruth Hauser; his daughters, Beth Johnson (David) of Raleigh and Deborah Flippin (Alan) of Westfield; his grandchildren, Christy Johnson (David Norris) and Ryan Johnson; and his brother Gary Hauser (Ginger) of Winston-Salem.
