With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Tara Elizabeth Jones (Advance, North Carolina), born in Winston Salem, North Carolina, who passed away on February 28, 2022 at the age of 31. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandfathers, David Swaim and Willis Jones; and her great-grandparents, Glenn Swaim, Sr. and Dorothy Swaim. She is survived by: her close friend Tara; her son Maverick David Jones; her mother Rina Swaim Gaddy; her stepfather Simeon McRae Gaddy; her father Mack Davis Jones; her stepmother Sherri Blackburn Jones; her sisters, Samantha Gaddy-Hall and Sara Francis Gaddy; her stepsisters, Kendra Mickey and Leah Mickey; and her grandmother Janie Posey Swaim.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers a donation be made to the Merit Pit Bull Foundation.
