She was predeceased by: her husband Robert George "Bob" Clayton; her parents, Robah E. Hanes and Effie Vanhoy Hanes; and her siblings, Margaret Sparks (Virgil), Mary Sparrow (Robert), Nancy "Jacque" Joyce (Glenn) and David Hanes (Doris).
She is survived by: her daughters, Martha Clayton Logemann (Ernest) and Susan Clayton Moorefield (Kelly); her granddaughters, Katherine Clayton Logemann (Christopher Ogletree) and Anna Louise Logemann; her stepgrandsons, Cassidy and Chase Moorefield; and her great grandchild Margaret Olivia Ogletree. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
