It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven Richard Ford of Advance, North Carolina, who passed away on August 25, 2023, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Richard Ford. He is survived by: his mother Barbara VanDyke (Bill Roberts) of Kississimee; his wife Shannon; his son Luke of Advance; his mother-in-law Alma Shinault of Clemmons; his sister-in-law Annette Dezarn (David) of Mocksville; his nieces, Natalie Dezarn of Mocksville and Madison Hedrick (Alex) of Middlesex; his brothers, Jon Foster, Ryan King, Mike McLean, Chad Noggle, Tim Pennington, Jake Rowe, Joe Thompson, Ryan Thompson and Dan Van Deusen; and his caregivers, Katie Carlton, Julie Clevenger, April Greissinger and Dr. Caio Rocha-Lima.
Anyone who wishes to honor Steve is requested to make a contribution to Luke's college fund made payable to "College America for the benefit of Luke P. Ford" and mailed to the Ford residence at 115 Old Course Drive, Advance, NC 27006.
