She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Cantrell and Ola Butler Cantrell; her husband James Peele; her brothers, Guy Cantrell and Joel Cantrell; her siblings-in-law, Charles Cooper, David Oliver, Roger Boles, Miriam Daywalt and Linda Boles; and her nieces, Crystal Cantrell and Penny Cooper.
She is survived by: her siblings, Loretta Cooper, Diane Cantrell, Gary Cantrell (Darlene) and Wayne Cantrell (Norma); her sisters-in-law, Linda Cantrell, Janice Smith, Sandra Hawks and Louise Berrier; her nieces and nephews, Mark Cooper (Gina), Gary Wayne Cantrell (Marla), Terry Logan, Tracy Blakely (Bobby), Wendy Gurley (David), Misty Glover (Todd), Christy Whicker (Rodney) and Deanna Stewart (Larry); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Mindy Martinez and Abelina Sifuentes.
To best represent Kay's kind and caring spirit, in lieu of flowers, the family will be gathering monetary donations to purchase needed items for Kay's fellow nursing home residents at Accordius of Lexington.
