She was predeceased by: her mother Judy Lally; her mother-in-law Delores Hanington; and her aunt Carol Lally. She is survived by: her father Ken Lally; her husband Ernest Hanington; her children, Michael Hanington (Michelle) and Darien; her grandchildren, Brody Hanington, Parker Hanington, Benjamin and James Mogni VI; her brothers, Sean Lally (Kim), Michael Lally and Brent Lally (Wendy); her father-in-law George Hanington; and also, Louene Fitzpatrick (Kenny), Kevin Hanington and Heather Shepherd (Scott).

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorial donations be made in her honor to Cancer Services of Winston-Salem, 3175 Maplewood Ave., Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
