She was predeceased by: her parents, George Lawson and Edna Lawson; and her brothers, Kenneth Lawson, Jimmy Lawson and Jerry Lawson.
She is survived by: her niece Patti Jo Mabe; her nephew Mike Lawson; her significant other Carl Crouse; her daughter Sandy Hester (Roger); her grandchildren, Austin and Aubrey Hester; her siblings, Tommy, Steve Lawson, Bonnie Newman (Ben), Dot and Judy Lawson; her cousin Betty Nifong; and her close friend James Warren. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Hickory Ridge United Methodist Church general fund.
