He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Lee Hedrick and Frances Hunt English; and his siblings, Rayvon, Roy, Robert Hedrick and Mary Hedrick Scarlett.
He is survived by: his son Richard Hedrick, Jr. (Wanda) of Southmont; his stepdaughter Windey Cody of Emerald Isle; his grandson Steven Jolly; and his great grandchild Solaris Jolly.
