He was predeceased by: his parents, Minnie Bruce Britt and Raymond Jasper Perkins; and his siblings, Betty Britt Howard and James Perkins. He is survived by: his wife Sue Whitt Perkins; his children, Britt Perkins (Maria) and Allison Perkins McWhorter (Michael); and his grandchildren, Will, Sarah Perkins, Cade, Carson and Reagan McWhorter.
