It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Rogers King of Advance, North Carolina, born in Marion, North Carolina, who passed away on December 14, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Grace Ross Rogers and Junius Signal Rogers; and her husband William Bryan King, Sr. (Bill). She is survived by: her sister Jean R. Perkins; and her sons, William Bryan King, Jr. (Scott) of Columbus and Kevin Patrick King (Sandy) of Advance. She is also survived by extended family includes two grand-daughters, six great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
