Niki Kortesis Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 16, 2021, at the age of 81, Niki Kortesis (Advance, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Basilis Kokotos and Eleni Kokotos; her husband Gus Kortesis; her siblings, Vasiliki Kokotos and Ioannis Kokotos; and her siblings-in-law, George Cortesis and Demetra Kortesis.

She is survived by: her sons, John Kortesis (Renee) and Bill Kortesis (Athena); her siblings, Panorea Bandothakis and Demetrios Kokotos (Kassiani); and her sister-in-law Persephone Cortesis. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 435 Keating Drive, Winston-Salem, NC 27104.
