She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeffie James and Edna Cornatzer McAbee; and her sister Margaret McAbee Brendle (John F. Penry). She is survived by: her children, James A. Penry (Karen) and Melissa P. Arledge (Bill); her great-nephew Hunter (Megan); her caregiver Libby; and also, Emma and Caroline.
