He is survived by: his wife Diana Perkinson of Winston-Salem; his granddaughters, Erika Hamby, Rhyse and Mckai Keene of Wilkesboro; his daughter Rachel Hamby of Wilkesboro; his sister Debra Thomas (Jeff) of Creedmoor; his nephew Chan Welborn (Michelle); his great-nieces, Katie and Dolores; and his great-nephew Cole of Wake Forest. He is also survived by his family, friends.
