He is survived by: his siblings, Janie Frye, Susan Swansburg, Cindy Skaggs, Theresa Cranford, Alison Cranford, Ed Cranford, Terry Skaggs and Phil Swansburg; and his nieces and nephews, Gail Keaton (Kenny), Dean Adams (Cindy), Kimberly Kiser (Charles), Jeb Cranford (Krista), Sarah James (Antwan), Miranda Skaggs, Adam Davis, Hannah Myers (John), Emily Blankenship and Mitch Adams.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Winson-Salem Rescue Mission or Immanuel Eden Moravian Church.
