With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Schmucker Van Zile (Advance, North Carolina), who passed away on January 4, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Joseph and Margaret Shenise Schmucker; her husband Clarence Van Zile; her grandson Steven Michael Stoess; and her siblings, Peggy Spreen, Jeanette Maros, Thomas Schmucker and William Schmucker, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Jean Stoess (Mike), Michael Van Zile (Gail) and Sue Fye (Bob); her grandchildren, Kimberly Fournier (Andrew), Zachary Fye, Nathan Fye (Sarah) and Tracy Bush; and her great grandchildren, Aidan, Elizabeth, Sarah, Emma, Mary, Patrick and Jules. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in loving memory of Mary to Bridges Church, 5131 Reynolda Rd. Winston-Salem, NC 27106.
