She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Green and Eunice Belle Sears Melton; her husband Charlie "Bill" West; her daughter Sallie Amanda West; and her siblings, Kate Barney, R. G. Melton, Jr., Troy "Chalk" Melton, Harold Melton and Nancy Wright.
She is survived by: her sister Maudie Harris of Advance. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
