With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lorraine Mitchell (Advance, North Carolina), born in Rome, Georgia, who passed away on October 6, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Boalch and Emmie Bell Smith Boalch; her husband James W. "Bill" Mitchell; and her sister Venita Primm. She is survived by: her children, Kathy Essic (Preston) of Lewisville, Tom Mitchell of Alabama and Danny Mitchell of Winston-Salem; her grandchildren, Meredith Gomez (Manny) of Clemmons, Lorraine Fincher (Josh) of Alabama, Katelyn Mitchell of Alabama, Daniel Mitchell (Sarah) of Alabama and Will Mitchell of Alabama; and her great grandchildren, Brian, James Gomez of Clemmons, Joshua, Mary Kate, Naomi Fincher and Gabriel Mitchell of Alabama.
