She is survived by: her children, Dennis Carter (Cynthia), David Carter (Pat), Jeff Carter (Lora) and Lori Gunter (Keith); her grandchildren, Jenny Kotarsky (Vince), Jessica Davis (Ray), Adam Carter (Lauren), Ben Carter (Brett), Megan Flowe (Sam), Matthew Carter, Brea Nance (David), Boyd Correll, Hannah Carter, Shawn Myers, Curtis Johnson (Kelly) and Jacob Darnell; her great grandchildren, Kaitlin Ramsey (Daniel), Cara Terry, Riley Terry, Harper Terry, Vada Carter, Leona Carter, Jubal Flowe, Lark Flowe, Adley Nance, Abby Johnson, Avery Johnson and Bryson Hanks; her siblings, Sonny Stroud and Brenda S. Gregory; her nieces, Lucille Hartman and Lisa Shoaf; her nephew H. L. Carter; and her pets, Brittle and Charlie. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
