He is survived by: his wife Audrey Gilmore Peebles; his daughter Latesa Barrett (Bobby); his stepdaughter DeNee Hairston (James); his son Marcus G. Peebles; his siblings, James Peebles (Mazola) and Christine Cowan (Franklin); and his siblings-in-law, Jameshia Gilmore, Jackie Gilmore-Davis (Lee Roy), Robin Douglas, Roxie McGuire and Victor Gilmore. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
