It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leon William Weatherman (Advance, North Carolina), who passed away on November 1, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ransom Clifford Weatherman and Bill; his siblings, Ransom C. Weatherman, Jr., Jane Frances, Anne Weatherman Holland and Jean Weatherman Wilhelm; and his grandfather Rev. Leon Luckenbach.
He is survived by: his wife Gail Osborn Weatherman; his children, Donna Lynn Haskins and Brian William Weatherman (Dawn P. Weatherman); and his grandchildren, Paul C. Haskins, Jason L. Haskins, Jennifer M. Haskins and Jacklyn Noel Weatherman. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
