He is survived by: his children, Brandi Peoples (Mike) and Larry Dean Shinault, Jr. (Kathy Kiser); his grandchildren, Wesley Shinault (Breanna), Aby Gillispie (Chad) and Haley Peoples; his great grandchildren, Catherine Lilly Gillispie and Raelynne Beverly Shinault; and his siblings, Pat Shinault, Nancy Tuttle and Ray Shinault (Linda).
