She was predeceased by: her father James Graham Oates, Jr.. She is survived by: her mother Nancy Hill Oates Ellison of Winston-Salem; her children, James Caudle (Joelle) of Springfield, LA, Sarah Caudle (Mitch) of Greensboro and Laura Graham (Andrew) of Troutman; her grandchildren, Aidan Caudle, Audrey Caudle, Zora Caudle and Jameson Graham; and her siblings, Jami Oates Morgan (John) of Salisbury and James C. Oates of Greensboro.
