It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julia Powers Sandercock (Advance, North Carolina), who passed away on March 29, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Powers and Elsie Farthing Powers; and her siblings, Carolyn and John. She is survived by: her children, John (Gwen Roginsky), Anne Metcalf (Edward) and Stephen (Tara); her grandchildren, David, Elizabeth, Jeremy and Meredith; her nephew Christopher Powers (Lena); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Morgan, Tucker, Bryant and Bryce.
