She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Loving McCarty and Neva Mae Hackle McCarty; and her husband Max Carlton Bailey. She is survived by: her son David Bailey (Carolyn); her granddaughter Sarah Peninger (Paul); her children, Max and Erin; her granddaughter Laura McMahan (Jason); her daughters, Lucy and Lilly; and her sister Melvis McCarthy.
