He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Francis Kaper and Mary Cecilia Graboski Kaper; his sons, Joseph Thomas Kaper and Kenneth Allen Kaper; his wife Ellen H. Kaper; his stepchildren, Brian H. West, Sheila Grace West and Mershon M. Viscusie (David); his sister Mary Anne Kaper; and his daughter-in-law Sophie Kaper. He was also cherished by nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
