She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Spainhour Whittington and Ruby Parsons Whittington; her husband Edgar "Ford" Wyatt; and her brothers, Walter, Rex, Bud, Roy and Ray Whittington.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Denise Cruthers (Mike) and Seresa Wyatt-Poindexter; and her siblings, Bruce, Troy Whittington, Bernice Walker and Mildred Vannoy. She is also survived by four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.
