She was loved and cherished by many people including: her daughter Michelle; her son-in-law Steve Cardillo; her grandchildren, Griffin, Wesley and Nolan; her daughter Ashley; her son-in-law Kenny Davis; her grandchildren, Jack "Jackie" and Maggie; her son Rick; her grandchildren, Isaac, Joseph "Joey", Grace and Eve; her brother Jim; her sister-in-law Gail Smith; her parents, Bob Smith and Evelyn Smith; her brother Jay Smith; and her husband Rick Kohl.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Room at the Inn in Greensboro, or St. Joseph College Seminary in Mount Holly.
