He is survived by: his daughters, Cheryl Benton Gatewood and Tonya Benton Smith; his grandchildren, Jessica Smith of King and Jacob Smith of King; his siblings, June Smith (Ted) of King, Francis Deveaux (Denis) of King, Rita Manuel (Ronald) of Madison and Ira Benton (Sheila) of Auburn, WA; and his brother-in-law Arno Key. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
