He is survived by: his wife Pat Williard Vaughn; his children, Jeff Vaughn (Lisa) of Farmington and Jennifer Cecile (Scott) of Lewisville; his grandsons, Daniel, Jake Vaughn, Luke and Logan Cecile; his siblings, Harold Vaughn (Nancy), Ronnie Vaughn (Cheryl), Donnie Vaughn (Jackie), Mike Vaughn (Kathy) and Brenda Stewart; and his brother-in-law Bill York.
