She was predeceased by: her parents, David Vanhoy and Ruth Bennett Vanhoy; her son Mark Tysor; and her brother David "Tick" Vanhoy. She is survived by: her sister Ann Pettus of Kernersville; her nieces, Nicole Reavis (Jeff) of Kernersville, Portia Lakey (Robert) of Kernersville and Patricia Bottoms of Westfield; and her great-nieces, Katelyn Smith (Will), Matlyne Lakey and Clara Lakey.
