She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Guarascio and Louis Guarascio. She is survived by: her husband Ron Semple of Advance; her daughter Beth; her son-in-law Mark Meier of Advance; her daughter Traci Fordham (Dale Miguel) of Portland, OR; her grandchildren, Xandre Hernandez and Miguel Hernandez (Kenzie Corse) of Portland; her foster son Collins Lester of Billings, MT.; and her sisters, Helen Cline of Wisconsin, Joan Illmann of Wisconsin and Mary Lou Sorensen (Louis) of Wisconsin. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
Jane raised more than $1M in grants for Grasse River Heritage Foundation, was instrumental in creating a new riverfront park, and served as executive director of Canton's annual Remington Arts Festival.
