He was predeceased by: his wife Ann Bringle Cornatzer; his son James Terry Cornatzer; and his sister Sally Elizabeth Cornatzer. He is survived by: his son Jerry Wayne Cornatzer; his daughter-in-law Andrea Cornatzer of Mocksville; his grandchildren, David Cornatzer (Christy) of Mocksville and Meredith Perez (Gamaliel) of Newland; his great grandchildren, Noah Cornatzer, Kayden Cornatzer, Lily Perez and Alex Perez; and his siblings, Catherine C. Davis, Dorothy C. Wilson and Gordon Gray Cornatzer (Lyndia). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
