He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Green Walker and Lula Mae Tutterow Walker; his wives, Christine Beauchamp Walker and Doris Cook Walker; and his siblings, Ed Walker (Ham), Johnson Walker (Johnny), James Walker, Sam Walker, Mildred Latham, Aileen Cartner, Pauline Sink, Janie Koontz, Betty Grissom and Pearl Poindexter.
He is survived by: his daughter Cindy Walker Bailey (Allen Todd Bailey); his grandson Braxton Ryan Bailey of Advance; his sister Gail Kelly (Jimmy Kelly) of Mocksville; and his parents-in-law, Robert and Carolyn Cook Cornelius. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be considered for the Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, 321 Redland Road, Advance, NC 27006, or to a charitable organization of choice.
