He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Cornett and Hala Holcomb Cornett; and his siblings, William Cornett and Bertie Lou Francis. He is survived by: his wife Bettie Cornett; his children, Linda Duncan (Michael), Steven Cornett and Michael Cornett; and his granddaughters, Sara Cornett, Stephanie Whitehead, Christina Combs and Victoria Alexandra.
