She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruffin Jackson Sheppard and Elah May Jessup Sheppard; her son-in-law Ronnie Spainhour; and her sister Frances Williams. She is survived by: her children, Barry Dean Hatcher (Dawn) of Germanton and Beverly Jean Spainhour of Kernersville; her grandchildren, Eddie Dean Hatcher (Deanna) of Germanton and Ronald Edward Spainhour "Rodney" (Dawn) of Kernersville; and her great grandchildren, Zack of Germanton, Dustin of Germanton and Krissy Hatcher of Germanton. She is also survived by two nieces; and two nephews.
