It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hazel Hutchins (Advance, North Carolina), who passed away on November 7, 2022, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father James E. Preston; her son Calvin G. Hutchins (Avalee); and her siblings, Stella Hutchings, Treva Nelson, Eva Baker, Cebron Preston, James Preston and Carlos Preston.
She is survived by: her children, Becky Tucker (Charles), Gene Hutchins (Elizabeth) and Roy "Junior" Hutchins. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great grandchildren, as well as many other extended family members and friends.
