He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert John Dixon and Lynor Schumacher Volborth. He is survived by: his son Daniel Shakespeare; his granddaughter Sabrina Shakespeare; and his siblings, Billie Liparito (John) and Bob Simon (Rebecca). He is also survived by three nephews; three nieces; many great-nieces and nephews, also surviving are several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
