She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Hoots and Ila Fulk Hoots. She is survived by: her caregiver Nick Poindexter; her husband Nick; her sons, Ken Stroud and Brad Stroud; her daughter-in-law Annie Stroud; her grandchildren, Carden of Advance, Carsyn of Advance and Weston Stroud of Advance; her caregiver Gaye Hoots of Oriental; her brother Phil Hoots (Jeannie) of Fayetteville; and her nieces, Camilla Potts Leonard of New Port, NC and Kendra Smith of Advance. She is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, cousins, and many lifelong friends.
