He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Gray Crews and Etta Utchler Lawson Crews; and his wife Carrie Crews. He is survived by: his daughter Tami Crews (Barry Niten); his grandson Chandler Stroud; his siblings, Nancy Hart and Billy Crews; his siblings-in-law, Lois Slate (Larry), Lola Fry (Rick) and Walter Rierson (Peggy); and his nephew Marvin "Noon" Trivette.
