She was predeceased by: her parents, Ottis H. Smith and Lola H. Smith; her son Larry Wayne; and her siblings, Elbert Smith, Hebert Smith, Ella Gray Smith, Norma Mae Cook (Smith), Maxine Smith Boger, Charles Smith and Arnold Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Black (Kelly), Donna Ireland (Jacky) and Patricia Etchison (Brent); her grandchildren, Amanda, John (Susan), Whitney, Courtney (Thomas), Nathaniel, Bennett and Julia; her great grandchildren, Landon, Riley, Eli, Abby and Adam; and her sister Jean Smith West.
